Steven Wayne is an African American soul singer, songwriter, music producer, and now author.  This being his first literary work that doesn’t include music, has been a project that he had been working on for the better part of four years.  Steven is a husband, father of three, business owner, and relationship facilitator. Steven still performs live music, and writes songs for himself and other independent artists, but this book has birthed in him a new desire.  His plan is to become a full time novelist.  He has more stories to tell and wisdom to impart, so strap in and get ready!  The man once known to the artistic world as the “Singer/Songwriter/Producer” is now adding Author to his creative title.

 

 
 

Temporary Demolishment

Temporary Demolishment is a story about a young man that pursues a romantic relationship with Lisa for over a decade.  What starts out as teenage puppy love, grows to become a full fledge adult relationship just steps from the marriage alter.  He chronicles the story of a young man coming of age in the realm of love, heartbreak, and spiritual awakening.  Through a series of failed attempts at a relationship with Lisa, the young man becomes heart broken and devastated.  He has to find some way to heal his heart and not continue to make bad decisions in other relationships because of his brokenness.  He eventually finds healing and restoration, despite the rough journey he takes with Lisa.

 

This young man’s transparency in sharing his many quest to find love is refreshing, enduring and at the same time wildly entertaining. This book will leaving you desiring love even if there has been some heartbreak. There is hope and love for the broken hearted.
